 Steve has a passion for seeing people develop into fully devoted followers who are "sold out" for Jesus. He has been a Christian since early childhood but Steve's faith was revived in 1996 during a period or personal challenge. He has been serving in ministry leadership ever since. Steve's responsibilities at New Hope include one-on-one discipleship coaching and facility management.
Steve and his wife Karen have been married 21 years and have two children, Dex and Jacqueline. The Rebers moved to Bend in 2004 after Steve completed a 22 year management career with Chevron.
Steve was born in Los Angeles and has also lived in Sacramento, Tacoma, Anchorage, Seattle and the Bay Area . His hobbies include real estate development and almost anything to do with the outdoors, including canoeing, fishing, hiking, and working on backyard projects with Karen. |
